Max & Maggie's Maze Adventure

A maze is a puzzle made up of paths and walls. The goal is to find a route from a starting point to an end point without crossing any walls. Mazes have been enjoyed by children and adults for thousands of years — they’re a wonderful way to build problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and patience. In Max & Maggie’s Maze Adventure, you help Max navigate through a maze to find his friend Maggie!

Guide Max 👦🏾 through the maze to reach Maggie 👧🏾. You can move Max using several different controls:

• Keyboard: Use the arrow keys or W, A, S, D keys to move up, left, down, and right.
• Mouse: Click and drag through the maze paths on desktop — Max will follow your cursor.
• Touch: On mobile or tablet, tap and drag your finger through the maze. Max follows your finger as you trace a path.
• D-Pad: On touch devices, you’ll also see on-screen arrow buttons below the maze for step-by-step control.

There are four difficulty levels, each creating a different size and complexity of maze:

• Easy (10×10): A smaller maze with one clear solution path. Great for younger kids or warming up.
• Medium (15×15): A larger maze with extra loops and alternate paths that can lead you astray. You’ll need to think carefully!
• Hard (22×22): A big maze with even more deceptive paths and dead ends. Wrong turns can cost you a lot of time.
• Expert (30×30): The ultimate challenge — a massive maze with many branching paths. Only the most patient maze-solvers will conquer this one!

Click the “New Maze” button above the maze to generate a fresh, randomly created maze. Every maze is unique! You can also change the difficulty level from the dropdown before generating a new maze. Your move counter and timer will reset automatically.
